Your bar wants to live its best life too! Unlike chemically hardened commercial soaps, natural soap bars get a little mushy if left to sit in a wet area, so make the most of your soap by keeping it high and dry between uses.

DIRECTIONS

For dishwashing: Scrape off excess food and grime from dishes. For cutlery, plates, bowls and cups. 

Grate down and add approximately a tablespoon to hot water. Stir vigorously using your hand, a whisk or whilst dancing to dissolve & create suds.

Works in both warm or cold water. For heavily soiled plates, pots and pans, use a scrubber or scourer for best results.

Wash & rinse dishes as you would with any other dishwashing liquid. You can also apply directly to your dishes.

Sweet Earth Multipurpose cleaning soap can be turned into a liquid dish soap? Here's a quick & simple recipe:

1/2 cup grated Sweet Earth Dish Soap

1 & 1/2 cups water

2 Tbsp Vegetable glycerin

1 Tsp Castor Oil (for bubbles)

10 drops of Lemon/Lime/Eucalyptus essential oils.

Add water to small saucepan over medium heat

Use cheese grater to shred bar

Add Sweet Earth soap shreds to saucepan

Stirring often until soap is melted

Remove from heat and allow to sit for 2 mins

Pour soapy water into dish soap pump bottle (heat proof plastic or glass)

Add vegetable glycerin and essential oils

Secure lid and shake well to combine ingredients.

Your Sweet Earth Multipurpose bar can be used until it runs out or can be composted.

To make a cleaning gel:

Add equal portions of boiling water to grated down soap in a container and let sit for at least an hour to allow the flakes to dissolve. This thick paste is great for washing kitchen and bathroom surfaces. Use as you would a usual household cleaner.
